U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Seoul today for high-level talks with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, as part of his five-nation Asia tour aimed at resetting trade relations and regional security policy.

Trump expressed optimism about a potential trade deal with China, suggesting tariff reductions could be linked to Beijingโ€™s action against fentanyl precursor exports. His visit coincided with a new missile test by North Korea, heightening regional tension.

โ€œChina must play a responsible role in ensuring regional stability and fair trade,โ€ Trump said at a joint press conference. Analysts say the visit could redefine U.S. economic and security priorities in East Asia.
