Patna, November 2:
In a swift administrative reshuffle, the Election Commission of India transferred several senior police and administrative officers following the killing of gangster-turned-politician Dularchand Yadav in Mokama earlier this week.
The transfers include the SP (Rural) and three Sub-Divisional Officers in Patna district. The move comes amid growing concerns over law and order during the election period.
The murder, which occurred during an election rally, has sparked political outrage and raised questions about security arrangements for candidates. Opposition parties have demanded a central inquiry into the incident.
