Haryana’s Board Opens Registrations for 2025-26 Class 10 & 12 Examinations

Chandigarh | November 6, 2025

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has officially opened the registration window for the 2025–26 board examinations for Classes 10 and 12, signalling the commencement of the preparatory phase for the next academic cycle. The registration portal went live on November 6, with school principals required to complete verification of submission accuracy by the deadline of November 25.

What schools and candidates must do

  • Schools, including government, private and grant-in-aid institutions affiliated to BSEH, are expected to access the online registration portal and initiate student enrolment for the upcoming exams.
  • Principals are accountable for verifying the correctness of each submission — including student details, subject combinations, and fee payment status — before final submission to the Board.
  • Late registrations or errors may lead to complications in exam scheduling, admit-card issuance or eligibility for timely certification.
  • BSEH has advised schools to familiarise themselves with the online system’s guidelines and to observe deadlines strictly in order to avoid administrative bottlenecks closer to exam season.

Why this matters

The timely launch of registrations signals that BSEH is keeping to its academic calendar and preparing ahead for logistics such as centre allocation, admit card issuance, exam scheduling and result processing. With Classes 10 and 12 being high-stake academic years, the registration process is a crucial first step in ensuring smooth conduct of board exams.

For students, early registration means that subject choices and eligibility parameters (regular, re-appear, improvement) are confirmed early, giving clarity for preparation strategy. For schools, it allows administrative lead-time to ensure that records are in order and that any class/stream changes or improvements are documented.

Potential challenges & tips

  • Some schools may face delays due to infrastructure issues, internet connectivity or lack of familiarity with the online interface; it is advisable to begin registrations early rather than wait until last minute.
  • Principals should cross-check student data (name, date of birth, subject codes) carefully to avoid mismatches that could lead to complications in admit-card generation or student eligibility.
  • Students opting for “improvement of performance” or re-appear may need to satisfy additional criteria; schools must ensure correct categorisation to avoid last-minute eligibility issues.
  • The Board may also enforce late fee schedules after the deadline; schools should budget accordingly and inform parents/students.
  • Since the registration window covers a wide number of students across the state, schools are advised to avoid submitting clusters at peak time to reduce system-overload risk.
