India and the Netherlands have stepped up cooperation in maritime infrastructure, water management, and green hydrogen as Dutch Minister for Infrastructure and Water Management Robert Tieman met senior Indian officials in Mumbai.
Both sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote sustainable port modernization, green shipping corridors, and coastal climate resilience. The Dutch delegation also participated in the ongoing India Maritime Week 2025, showcasing innovations in port technology and environmental monitoring.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde called the partnership a “key step toward sustainable growth and digital transformation in port management.”
