According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), most regions of India are set to experience warmer-than-usual nights and normal to below-normal daytime temperatures throughout November 2025.
The IMD report also noted that October 2025 witnessed the second-highest rainfall since 2001, bringing relief to farmers in key agricultural belts. However, northwestern India may see slightly cooler conditions than average.
The forecast is expected to benefit winter crop cultivation and boost tourism in northern and southern hill regions.
